The Joy Convertible Skirt is a fluid high-low midi skirt that converts into a strapless dress, giving you two distinctly different ways to wear one piece. The wide fold-over waistband can be positioned at the waist or hips as a skirt, then pulled up over the bust to create the bodice of the dress.
Made from our plant-based stretch rayon jersey, the fabric is soft and flexible with comfortable stretch and a fluid drape. The stretch works naturally with the convertible construction, allowing the waistband to adapt as you change how the piece is worn.
As a skirt, the fuller silhouette falls into a high-low hemline, creating changing length and movement around the legs. Position the waistband higher or lower to adjust where the skirt sits and how the hem falls.
Pull the waistband up and the same piece becomes a strapless midi dress. The wide band creates a simple, secure bodice while the high-low hem gives the dress its distinctive shape. Add a shrug, wrap, or lightweight jacket when you want more coverage.
Styling Tip
From summer sandals to winter boots. Wear the Joy with sandals for summer days, beach travel, and warmer destinations. As temperatures cool, style it as a skirt with tights, boots, and a fitted long-sleeve top or sweater. The high-low hem works particularly well with boots, keeping more of the footwear visible while adding coverage for fall and winter.
